We're so glad Gary was our agent. He was patient with us and our searching across all of Scottsdale. We appreciated that he steered us away from properties that wouldn’t be good, albeit construction quality, power lines, sun exposure, etc. And driving us around and looking at houses was all nice, fine and pleasant.
Where Gary really came through was in the inspection and closing process. We are so fortunate that Gary was in our corner. We're grateful for his construction knowledge and expertise in this area. Gary knew exactly which items on the inspection were no problem, and he zeroed in on a plumbing issue. The seller agreed to make repairs flagged by inspection and reported them complete.
However, in the final walk through, Gary noted the plumbing issue had not been satisfactorily resolved. Gary's expertise was incredibly beneficial when he worked with the title company to ensure that money was set aside in escrow for repairs. Though it was a little inconvenient to move into a house full of plumbers, ultimately the seller's plumber concluded the entire house needed to be replumbed. Gary was at the house daily to monitor progress, ensure no corners were being cut (noted leaking hot water heater needed replaced) and the job was done right. Gary saved us more than $11,000 in new plumbing, and potentially far more if a pipe had later burst.

Gary S. May; Partner/Managing Director/Designated BrokerGary became an Arizona Realtor® in 1984 and obtained his Broker's Real Estate license in 1988. His vast experience includes specializing in custom new home sales, production and custom lot sales, REO and Loss Mitigation for banks, as well as resale properties throughout the “Valley of the Sun” and Arizona.
From 1997-2001, Gary was lead Marketing and Sales Director for Cullum Custom Homes, an award winning builder in Arizona
In 2001, he formed “The Gary May Group” which has been very successful in blending various real estate businesses under one roof.
From 2001-2004, Gary was a Consultant for Calvis Wyant Custom Homes, the largest luxury home builder in Paradise Valley and the surrounding metropolitan area.
From 2004 to 2006, he represented Regents Park in the sale of land that had been obtained through tax lien foreclosures. Gary completed over 45 transactions for Regents.
From 2005 to present, he started Conquest Homes to build production housing. Gary also started G2Holdings, an investment LLC.
From 2008 to 2015, he represented M&I Bank /BMO Harris in the disposition of assets and sold over 360 properties for the banks garnering an award winning Wall Street Top 150.
2015 to the present, Gary is the Managing Member of May Construction Group, building custom homes and remodeling upper end properties.
2017 to the present, he is Broker/Owner of NextHome City to City, a full service Real Estate Company serving the Valley of the Sun
